Pre-season ACB & Euroleague meeting |

It has been an intense week! I have already seen five ACB teams playing: Real Madrid, Estudiantes, Cajasol, Valencia and Bilbao and I think the competition will be very interesting this season too, although obviously in pre-season it’s hard to make forecasts, with absences, injuries, experiments, etc. I also attended the meeting between Euroleague referees and coaches in Treviso, where we discussed the interpretation of game situations from last year, we analysed proposals from the coaches to better interpret situations for forthcoming season and the application of new rules which come into force officially on 1st of October and that the teams are already using: personally I will need to adapt very quickly as a few days ago I played in the World Championships with the old rules while clubs have already adapted to the new ones in the training camps and friendlies.
